Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Your own driver guide or representative will meet you at the airport (Kilimanjaro International Airport/JRO or Arusha Airport/ARK). You will return to your Arusha lodging for the night, ready for your adventures to begin the next day.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park (120 km approximately 2 hour's drive)
After breakfast, drive for Tarangire, Tanzania's third-largest national park and home to an unusually large elephant population. The park's majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature, dwarfing the animals that graze beneath them. Animals congregate near the Tarangire River, which serves as the area's only stable water supply. There is a wide range of species, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6,000 elephants. Take a picnic lunch on a game drive. Following another wildlife drive, you will return to Karatu for supper and sleep.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's largest intact calderas, home to around 25,000 wild species. There are more prides per capita than anywhere else on the planet. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly magnificent setting and the best place in East Africa to witness the Big Five, which include lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalo. It is one of the world's most amazing places and one of the world's eight wonders, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Ascend the crater in the late afternoon and return to Arusha, marking the end of your travels with us.
